According to Napoleon, the word ‘impossible’ did not exist in his dictionary. It was very truly so, because when victory seemed ‘impossible’, he snatched it away from his enemies. His life provides us with a good example of the famous saying that ‘where there is will, there is a way’. More important than working according to a plan is the plan itself. If the plan is defective and ill conceived, no amount of labour and good work will bear fruit. But still more important thing is the ‘will’ to plan for a work and ‘will’ to implement the plan. That is because anything done half-heartedly or unwillingly will fail.

Unwillingness is a bad habit. There are many boys and girls who do not ‘fell like’ eating when it is time to eat. Sometimes, parents force them to eat. In some case, they cannot or do not put pressure on them. As a result, quite often, these children remain weak and their growth is not what it should be. It is not the case that they do not eat because they are not hungry. They have not formed the good habit of eating properly at proper time. Thus we can say that they have cultivated a bad habit of “unwillingness” from their childhood. If one has to succeed, one must give up this habit. It is not only the physical growth that is affected because of unwillingness. One does not grow mentally either because this habit is so infectious that very soon one wills not ‘feel like’ studying or gathering knowledge and information. Slowly and slowly, they are withdrawing everything.
